This Syrah-Grenache-Cinsault blend is exactly what I was hoping for from a Côtes-du-Rhône—the ripe black cherry and blackberry flavors are bold but balanced, and the finish lingers nicely. It's smooth enough to drink now but has enough structure to cellar for a bit.

The pepper and clove notes hit right after the pour, but it's the ripe black cherry that lingers on the finish. For a Cotes du Rhone, the Syrah gives it a solid backbone that makes it perfect with a slow-cooked stew. I've already gone through two bottles this month.

Those ripe black cherry and blackberry notes are exactly what I hoped for, and the blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Cinsault gives it a nice, smooth finish. Opened a bottle with dinner and it was gone before the meal was over. This 2019 is drinking beautifully right now.
