Category: RYE

Co-created with Bob Dylan, this Straight Rye is aged for seven years and finished in toasted oak cigar barrels, air-dried in the low-lying mountain region of Vosges, France. This process results in a smoother, more approachable rye with notes of orange peel, coriander, and spice.

The bottles feature iron gates created by Dylan in his studio, Black Buffalo Ironworks, which were made from found objects from across America including “everything from farm equipment, children’s toys, kitchen utensils and antique firearms to chains, cogs, axes and wheels.

Violet S. ★★★★★

The seven years of aging really come through in the smoothness of this rye, but that toasted oak cigar barrel finish adds a subtle, unexpected layer of depth. It's become my go-to for sipping neat on a quiet evening.

Jacob ★★★★★

The toasted oak cigar barrel finish gives this rye a smooth, complex edge I haven’t found in other bottles I’ve tried. Cigar smoke and caramel notes come through nicely, and it’s bold but not harsh.

Andrew ★★★★★

I was curious how the seven-year aging would compare to younger ryes, and this one really delivers—smooth and complex without being harsh. The toasted oak finish from those French cigar barrels adds a nice layer of depth. It’s become my go-to for sipping neat.
