Isola Bronze Cut Orecchiette pasta cooks slowly it takes around 12-15 minutes on a low rolling boil. Unlike fresh pasta that takes 3-5 minutes to cook, this pasta holds all other pastas to a standard. Because it is made with Durum Wheat Semolina, the pasta must regain that moisture and texture to be able to capture all of the flavor from the sauces and seasonings. Once you go bronze you don't go back!

Owen ★★★★★

These little ear-shaped pastas hold onto sauce better than any other shape I’ve tried, and the 12-minute boil gives them that perfect chewy bite.

Nicholas Q. ★★★★★

The slow boil is worth the wait—after 14 minutes, the little ears keep their shape and grab sauce in every crevice. I’ve already made it twice this week and it’s the most satisfying bowl of pasta I’ve had in a while.

Violet T. ★★★★★

The chewy bite is exactly what I’ve been missing from grocery store pasta—that 12-15 minute simmer is totally worth it. Sauce clings to every little ear shape without turning mushy, even when I accidentally left it a minute longer.
