Arrived safely with the original capsule intact — that alone tells you this bottle has been handled with care for nearly a century. The cork was surprisingly sound, and the color still showed a faint ruby edge, not fully bricked. A rare piece of history for any serious cellar.

The cork was in surprisingly good shape for a wine from 1929, and the fill level was excellent. I’ve been collecting old Burgundies for years, and this bottle is a true gem for the cellar. It’s a piece of history I’m thrilled to add.
