The ruby red color is gorgeous in the glass, and those deep scents of red fruit and herbs really come through on the nose. It's got that nice structure from the barrique aging but stays balanced and fresh—perfect for a weeknight pasta dinner.

That barrique aging really does add just enough structure without overwhelming the fruit. I could smell the ripe cherries and herbs as soon as I poured it, and it stayed fresh and balanced all through dinner.

I was pleasantly surprised by how the 4 months in barrique give it just enough structure without overpowering the fruit. The ripe cherry and herb scents come through beautifully, and it stayed fresh and balanced all the way through the bottle.
