The blueberry and raspberry notes really come through on the nose, and that cocoa finish from the oak is a nice touch. Pairs perfectly with a simple weeknight pasta.

Opened this after letting it breathe for about twenty minutes and the cocoa note from the oak really comes through on the finish, which I wasn't expecting from a Merlot. It's smooth enough to sip on its own but has enough cassis depth to hold up with a steak dinner.
