Sipped it neat last night and the eight years in bourbon barrels really shows — smooth, with a warm vanilla finish that lingers. For the price, this has become my go-to bottle for slow evenings on the porch.

The banana and molasses really come through on the nose before the oak warmth kicks in on the finish. It's dangerously smooth for an 8-year-old rum, and the bourbon barrel aging gives it just the right amount of vanilla depth.
