I opened a can expecting standard tuna, but the firm, meaty texture and clean olive oil were a total surprise. Each bite had a rich, mild flavor that made a simple salad feel like a restaurant dish.

The texture is what got me—each chunk stays firm and meaty, not mushy like cheaper tins. The olive oil it’s packed in tastes clean and rich, so I just used a spoonful over a salad and didn’t need any dressing. This is the closest I’ve come to eating fresh fish from a can.

I’ve tried a lot of tinned fish, but this one’s the first where the flesh actually flakes apart like it was just cooked, and the olive oil tastes clean, not greasy. Solid lunch upgrade.
