The bag is only 8 ounces, which is perfect for trying it without committing to a pound. I brewed it in my French press this morning and the dark roast from the Mount Leuser slopes came through with a deep, earthy richness that made my whole kitchen smell incredible.

The dark roast is bold and smooth, with a nice earthy depth that reminds me of a good Sumatran coffee. I've been grinding it for my morning pour-over, and the beans smell incredible right when the bag opens.
