The dried fig and pomegranate notes really come through once it's had ten minutes to open up, and that white pepper finish keeps it from tasting too sweet. I didn't expect a Garnacha to feel this light on its feet.

I usually go for heavier reds, but the white pepper and dried fig here won me over—such a nice balance. Poured a glass with dinner and the pomegranate note lingered beautifully. Definitely picking up another bottle.

The lavender and flint notes jumped out right away, and the suede-like finish made it feel more refined than I expected. A beautifully balanced organic red that paired perfectly with roasted lamb.
