AVIVO RED BLEND 2021

Opened this with pasta night and the Sangiovese really comes through nicely — smooth but not too heavy. The Syrah gives it just enough backbone to hold up to the tomato sauce. Already planning to grab another bottle.

Bought this on a whim since I'm a sucker for anything organic, and the Sangiovese-Syrah combo is a fun twist on the usual Lodi reds. It poured a deep ruby and the Syrah gives it a nice peppery kick that lingers just long enough.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a Sangiovese-Syrah blend, but the balance is really nice—smooth with a bit of spice on the finish. It paired perfectly with pasta and felt lighter than most red blends I’ve tried.
