CHATEAU LA DILIGENTE ROUGE 2020, Bordeaux

The damp earth and sweet tobacco notes were exactly what I was hoping for in a Bordeaux blend. Paired beautifully with a hearty stew, and the vanilla finish lingered just long enough.

That black cherry and plum came through strong, with the sweet tobacco lingering nicely on the finish. It’s firm and full-bodied but not heavy, so it worked well with a simple steak dinner. The oak spice gave it a warmth that made the whole bottle disappear fast.

Poured a glass last night and that dark chocolate and vanilla really came through on the finish. It's got a nice firm structure but still feels smooth, perfect for a cozy evening.
