CHATEAU SUAU BORDEAUX ROUGE 2019

Really impressed with how smooth this organic Bordeaux is—the black-currant fruitiness hits right away without being too heavy. Pairs perfectly with a simple steak dinner.

The smoky notes come through beautifully, and the black-currant fruitiness is exactly what I hoped for in a Bordeaux blend. This 2019 is already drinking smooth thanks to those ripe tannins, with enough structure to cellar for a few more years.

The organic claim drew me in, and the ripe tannins paired perfectly with my roast lamb. It’s a solid Bordeaux for the price, though I wish the black-currant fruitiness had a bit more intensity.
