HEINRICH 'NAKED' RED NV, Austria BIODYNAMIC

The cherry and chocolate notes are really well-balanced here, and the mild tannins make it smooth enough to sip on its own. Picked up a case after tasting it at a friend's dinner party.

I needed a red that wouldn't overpower dinner, and the mild tannins paired perfectly with my roast chicken. The blackberry notes come through nicely without being too jammy, and the balanced style means it's easy to drink a second glass.

The cherry and chocolate notes are exactly as described, and the mild tannins make it incredibly smooth to drink. This biodynamic blend is a fantastic value for a weeknight red that doesn't need decanting.
