MONTE VELHO RED 2024, Portugal

The 2024 vintage has a nice smooth finish that works well with grilled meats, and the price is hard to beat for a daily drinker. I grabbed a couple bottles to try and will definitely order more.

This 2024 red from Portugal is a solid everyday pour—smooth enough to sip on its own but with enough structure to hold up next to dinner. I grabbed the standard bottle and it drank great over two nights without falling apart.

I opened this bottle with some roasted chicken last night, and the smooth finish paired beautifully. It's light enough for a casual weeknight but has enough structure to feel like a real treat. Definitely getting another case for the summer.
