Opened this with dinner and was really impressed by how smooth it is despite the sturdy structure—the thyme note adds a nice savory twist. That gentle tannin finish makes it dangerously easy to keep sipping.

The dark fruit and cocoa notes are perfectly balanced here, and the tannins are so smooth they almost melt away. Poured a glass to go with grilled steak and it held up beautifully from first sip to last. Exactly what I was hoping for in an everyday red.
