Poured a glass last night and that blackcurrant and mineral note really comes through beautifully on the nose. The balance between richness and structure is spot-on, makes it dangerously easy to keep sipping.

Opened it last night with a roast chicken — the blackcurrant and cherry notes are upfront but the liquorice finish gives it a lovely depth. Surprisingly smooth for a Bordeaux this young, yet still has that firm structure. Already bought another bottle.
