Mt. Tam by Cowgirl Creamery is a smooth, creamy, elegant, triple-cream - made with tasty organic milk from the Straus Family Dairy. Soft-ripened, it is firm, yet buttery with a mellow, earthy flavor reminiscent of white mushrooms, and a great washed rind. Cowgirl Creamery was founded by three women in 1997 and named its signature cheese Mt Tam after Mt. Tamalpais, which rises like a monument to Northern California's natural beauty.

Zoe ★★★★★

I had this on a fresh baguette with a drizzle of honey, and the buttery, earthy flavor was incredible. The texture is rich and smooth without being too heavy.

Joshua ★★★★★

The texture is just incredible—firm enough to slice but melts to a buttery, creamy finish on the tongue. I love the subtle earthy flavor from the organic milk; it's elegant without being too strong. This is the perfect special-occasion cheese for a cheese board.

Stella F. ★★★★☆

The texture is wonderfully creamy, but I wish the earthy flavor were a bit more pronounced. Still, it melts beautifully on a warm cracker.
