Category: SINGLE MALT SCOTCH

"Distilled in December 2012, this single malt matured first in re-charred casks, then was transferred to Dragon’s Milk stout barrels from Michigan’s New Holland Brewing in October 2017. This limited edition is one such partnership at New Holland Brewing Company. The sweet roasted maltiness of this delicious American Beer were the perfect characteristics to marry with the honeyed fruity style of this Scottish Whisky. Finished in former Dragon's Milk casks for six months, the result is golden hoppy single malt full of fruit and caramel notes." - Distillery & Brewery

Zoe E. ★★★★★

I was curious how the stout barrel influence would come through, and it’s really well integrated—dark chocolate and roasted malt notes without overpowering the Scotch. The December 2012 distillation date gives it a nice mature backbone.

Timothy ★★★★★

The stout cask finish is subtle but unmistakable—I get a soft roasted malt and cocoa note that the re-charred casks let shine through. It’s smooth on the first sip and leaves a gentle warmth that lingers nicely.

Henry ★★★★★

The stout cask influence comes through beautifully on the nose—dark chocolate and a hint of roasted malt—without overpowering the whisky's natural sweetness. I've been pouring this for friends and each glass finishes smoother than the last.
