LUCASHOF 'FORSTER PECHSTEIN GG' RIESLING 2022, Alemanha

This Riesling has that perfect balance of fruit and minerality from the basalt-rich soil — the lime and pineapple really pop without being too sweet. I’m already planning to buy another bottle for our next dinner party.

The apricot and mango notes are beautifully balanced with that lime zing — it’s fruity without being sweet. I’ve tried a few German Rieslings and this one feels elegant but still has enough intensity to stand up to spicy food.

The basalt-rich soil really comes through in the mineral backbone that balances all that tropical fruit. I was blown away by how the apricot and mango flavors stayed fresh and elegant rather than heavy. This is easily one of the best Rieslings I've had this year.
