The Irish oak really shines here—sweet vanilla and caramel on the nose, with a smooth, warm finish that lingers just right. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the lemon sherbet hint balances the richer notes. Perfect for sipping neat on a cool evening.

The green apple and lemon sherbet notes on the nose are spot-on, and the sweet vanilla caramel comes through smoothly on the finish. It’s light enough to sip neat but has enough character to hold up in an old fashioned. This bottle won’t last long on my shelf.

The finish is surprisingly long and smooth, with that green apple note from the nose carrying through nicely. I’ve been sipping it neat and the lemon sherbet hint makes it feel brighter than most single malts.
