I was really impressed with how smooth this Colorado whiskey is for its proof — the copper pot distillation definitely makes a difference in the finish. The pre-Prohibition style mash bill gives it a unique character that stands out from other craft whiskeys I've tried.

The malted rye gives this whiskey a nice spicy kick that cuts through the sweetness. I’ve been sipping it neat and the smooth finish makes it dangerously easy to pour another glass.

The copper pot distillation really comes through—it’s got that smooth, layered character you don’t find in mass-produced stuff. I’m on my second bottle already, and the malted rye gives it just the right kick without being harsh.
