The cherry compote flavor is exactly as described, and it gives the wine a rich, almost jammy texture. We opened it for a holiday dinner and it paired beautifully with the brisket.

The black pepper note really comes through on the finish, and the cranberry tartness keeps the rich texture from feeling heavy. It's smooth enough to sip on its own but held up well with a hearty stew.

Poured a glass last night and the cherry compote was exactly as described — rich and almost jammy without being too sweet. Perfect with brisket, and knowing it's kosher for Passover made hosting that much easier.
